You no longer have to worry about your facial thread veins. These thin vessels around your nose or on your cheeks are small blood vessels near the surface of the skin, often formed as a result of sun exposure.
A mandatory consultation is required before commencing your treatment(s) – FREE
Short, safe bursts of intense pulsed light is directed to the area of concern. The system filters the light to ensure wavelengths used are absorbed by the haemoglobin in the blood in your problem vessels. The light is converted to heat , which then destroys the protein in the wall of the thread vein, causing the veins to gradually disappear after the treatment. To ensure the best light transmission a thin layer of gel is applied (not that dissimilar to an ultra sound examination) is applied to the area of concern.
The most common treatments are for superficial veins in the face. Ideally the skin needs to be without a tan so the light can purely focus on the vein rather than being absorbed by the melanin from from your tan.
Several vessels can be targeted in one flash of light. The treatment time depends on the area to be covered and the number of distinct vessels to be treated.
The number depends on the location and number of veins present. As approximate guide line 1- 3 treatments are usually needed. Treatments are usually 1 per 1 month.
